It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Hochstetler of Bremen, Indiana, who passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John B. Williams and Bertha Williams (Robinson); her husband Harold "Red" Hochstetler; and her siblings, Henrietta Hove, Huldah Ross, Berdell, Roy and George Williams.

She is survived by : her children, Brian Hochstetler (Sandy) of Bremen, Brad Hochstetler of Atlanta, GA and Teresa Kobold (Mark) of Mishawaka; her grandchildren, Nathan Hochstetler (Rachel) of Pendleton, IN, Ryan Hochstetler of North Liberty, Kyle Kobold (Devon) of Loudonville, NY, Loucas Kobold of Atlanta, GA, Megan Russo (Ben) of Mishawaka and Matthew Kobold (Kelley) of Denver, CO; her great grandchildren, Maizen, Leland, Ryker, Alexandria, Abigail and Vincenzo; and her sisters, Emily Kollar of South Bend and Annabelle Osborne of South Bend.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mishler Funeral Home-Bremen (216 Woodies Ln, Bremen, IN 46506). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at the South Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to be made to the Grace Bremen Food Pantry, 1237 W. Plymouth St., Bremen, IN 46506.
