He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Sarber; his brother Glenn Sarber (Pat); his brother-in-law Dick Culy; and his stepgrandson Zach Moore. He is survived by: his siblings, Leon Sarber (Loretta) and Martha Culy; his great grandchild Graham Merle; Rachel (Michael).
