He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mellinger of Bremen, IN; his children, Rob Mellinger (Stephanie) of Hawthorn Woods, IL and Kellie Cacioppo (Jon) of Gurnee, IL; and his grandchildren, Gianna Cacioppo, Jack and Benjamin Mellinger.
