He is survived by: his wife Charlene M. VanDeKeere; his children, Tina Johnson (Charles) of North Liberty, Tammy Reichanadter (Jeff) of South Bend, Troy Gouker of Plymouth and Trent Gouker of Benton Harbor, Michigan.; his stepchildren, Jennifer Schafer of Indianapolis, Kevin Bickel of Wakarusa and Mark Bickel of Bremen; and his siblings, Wanda Pontius of Indianapolis and Richard Gouker of North Liberty.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the North Liberty Christian Church (65225 IN-23, North Liberty, IN 46554). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
