He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Welch and Alma Welch (Pavey). He is survived by: his wife Debra Welch; and his children, Franklin Welch (Tasha), Edward Welch, Douglas Welch (Tracy), Jeffery Scotten, Ellann Miranda (Osvaldo), Robert Welch and Rachael Welch (Julian). He is also survived by 16 Grandchildren; 8 Great-Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
