Anna Knepp Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Knepp of Bristol, Indiana, who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Sr. Bontrager and Lydiann Bontrager (Yoder); her spouse Karol L. Knepp; and her siblings, Edward, Tobias, Allen, John, Joe, Marvin, Ruben Bontrager, Barbara Bender and Elva "Sammi" Rieff.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Wharton of Sarasota, FL and Ronald Knepp (Peggy) of Goshen; her granddaughters, Stephanie Michel of Bristol and Carmen McGraw (Mike) of Goshen; her stepgrandchildren, Tanya Miller (Scott) of Goshen, Steve Vail (Pam) of Millersburg, Doug Vail of Goshen and Rick Vail of Newport News, VA; and her brothers, Jonas Bontrager of Granger and Marty Bontrager of Shipshewana. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, 12 step great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Miller-Stewart Funeral Home (1003 S Main St, Middlebury, IN 46540). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at the Clinton Union Cemetery (14309 College Ave, Goshen, IN 46528).
