It is with sadness that the passing of Benjamin Kersting of Bristol, Indiana is shared. Benjamin, born on March 26, 1943, passed away on September 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kersting and Trula Kersting; his son Todd M. Kersting; and his siblings, Berkley Kersting, Darrell Kersting, Walker Kersting Jr., Faith St. Mane, Nathan Kersting, Stephen Kersting and Doris Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Stoll; his daughters, Kelly Boyer (Michael) of Elkhart, IN and Aimee Fizer of Elkhart, IN; his grandchildren, Sydney Boyer Cripe (Seth) and Hannah Fizer (Josh Bair); his siblings, Margie Bartels (Clair), Nicholas Kersting, Susan Wellington, James Kersting and Julie Hine; Wesley. He is also survived by his family, especially his wife and children.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Book Hotel Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home (1531 Cobblestone Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46514). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home (1531 Cobblestone Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46514).
