It is with sadness that the passing of Carole Thomas of Bristol, Indiana is shared. Carole, born on May 4, 1941, passed away on October 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Goins and Louise Goins; and her son Shawn Michael Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Michael Thomas; her daughter Kimberly (Ryan Smith) of Larkspur, CO.; her grandchildren, Natalie M. Smith of Madison, WI, Nicholas Smith of Bloomington, IN. and Carole; and her great grandchildren, Susan Upward, Pierre (Fabiana Farinetti) and Evelyn Cerritos.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home (1531 Cobblestone Blvd, Elkhart, IN 46514). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. John's Episcopal Church (226 W Lexington Ave, Elkhart, IN 46516).
