He was predeceased by : his parents, Newton Caviness and Barbara Ann Caviness (Haynes). He is survived by : his wife Carol Swihart; and his siblings, Steve Caviness of Georgia and Rhonda Long (James) of North Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
