She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred H. Nighswonger and Carol M. Nighswonger. She is survived by : her husband Tom; her children, Levi Mellinger of Columbus, OH. and Lesli Mellinger of Bristol, IN; her siblings, Don Nighswonger (Reva) of Coldwater, KS. and Mary Podlesny (Drew) of Owasso, OK; and her nieces and nephews, Jason, Jessica, Kelsey and Emily.

“Tom, Levi and Lesli, I am so sorry you have lost Linda. Wish I could come to her service so show you how much she was loved by our family and community. She accomplished so much! I always remember my brother, Tom, saying what a good harvest hand she was! So much talent! She was such a hard worker and she took good care of all of you. I know you will miss her so much.
