It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Sommer of Bristol, Indiana, born in Petoskey, Michigan, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jacob B. Garver, and Blanche Garver, Sr. (Niswander); her brother Jacob B. Garver, Jr.; and her brother-in-law John Curtiss. She is survived by : her husband Ronald G. Sommer; her children, Eric (Carrie) of Elkhart, Mark Sommer of Elkhart, Steve Sommer (Amy) of Bradenton, Kristi Sommer (Paul Slagel) and Debbie Maurer (Tony); her sister Linda Curtiss of Mishawaka; and her sister-in-law Rachel Garver of Ft. Myers, Florida. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren (plus one on the way) and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be given to Beulah Missionary Church in Ruth's memory.
