“I became friends with Jody when she started coming to our church, Bethel Baptist, in Galesburg IL. Jody was at my Mom-2-Mom table one year, and an original member of a book club we started 11 years ago…which is still going strong. (Photo is of our very first book club meeting & theme dinner.) I even had the privilege of mentoring her for a year; we shared lots of walks, talks, laughs, and tears. She was a real sweetie, and will be missed. Prayers for peace and comfort amidst your grief.”
