He is survived by: his wife Janet I. Burton (Richards); his children, Chuck Richards of Brook, Kimberly Burton of Rensselaer and Donald Richards of Wolcott; his sister Faye Miller of Dyer; his granddaughters, Morgan Richards of Kentland and Ashley Manns of Rensselaer; and his great grandchildren, Jace O'Neil, Blake Cavanaugh, Olivia Cavanaugh and Braelyn Cothran.
