We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2023, at the age of 90, Jean Drewes of Brookville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ohmer J. Kunkel and Verena Schwegman Kunkel; and her siblings, Lester Kunkel, Marie, Annette Kuntz and Dorothy Purkey.

She is survived by : her husband Richard L. "Dick" Drewes; her children, Stephen Drewes (Judy) of Brookville, Diane Drewes of Indianapolis, Deborah Kaiser (Joseph) of West Harrison and David Drewes (Stacey) of Cincinnati; her grandchildren, Jennifer Graf (Jesse), Brittany Drewes (Jimmy Blades), Brandon Kaiser (Stephanie), Austin Kaiser, Derek Kaiser (Kallen), Cody Kaiser, Jared Drewes (Kristina) and Rachael Drewes; her great grandchildren, Jorja, Joslyn, Jovie, Jaxon Graf, Jacob Heinrich, Bailey, Griffin Kaiser, Rory and Jasper Kaiser; her siblings, Orville Kunkel (Delores) of Sunman, IN, Virgil Kunkel (Bernadine) of Brookville, IN, Ohmer Kunkel Jr. (Jan) of Fayette, MO and Florence Lunsford (Ralph) of Brookville, IN; and her goddaughters, Theresa Drewes Benkert, Elaine Kuntz, Sharon Drewes and Cathy Kunkel Schuman.
