It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Daniel Seale of Brookville, Indiana, born in Booneville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Cynthia Seale and Mainous; his siblings, Mary Scrivener, Edwin, Lowell and Harold Seale; and his grandson Clayton John Seale.

He is survived by : his sons, John Garth Seale (Julie) of Brookville and Joel Scott Seale (Deborah) of Brookville; his grandsons, Jared Seale (Chantel) and Austin Seale; his great grandchildren, Juna Clay and Judson Scott Seale; his stepgrandsons, Kelly Pflum and Casey Pflum (Angie); his sister Ruth Reams (Ben) of Sevierville, Tennessee; and his sister-in-law Laverne Seale of Dayton, Ohio.. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren.

Memorial Contributions may be directed to the Clayton John Seale Endowment through the Franklin County Community Foundation.

“My condolences at this time. I had the privilege of meeting John at Aspen Place. Delightful man and since my grandparents were from Owsley County we had some connections. My maiden name was Peters. John came to some of our church services at Aspen and he talked often of his love for basketball. May you all find peace at this time and reflect great memories.”
