He is survived by: his parents, Sidney Byrd and JoAnn Hensley; his stepfather Neil Hensley; his sister Sonja Herb; his niece Leah Boggs; his great-nephew Jacob Fenker; his great-niece Lydia Fenker; and his aunts and uncles, Earl Byrd, Larry Byrd, Virgil Rush, Carla Richardson, Cindy Byrd Deaton, Charlene Byrd Adams and Caroline Byrd Maddox.
