He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pennington and Mary Ann Pennington (Simmerman); his mother-in-law Patricia Simon; and his siblings-in-law, Loralee Pennington, John Simon Jr. and Bill Burman.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Simon; his children, Amanda Pennington (Brian Antrim) of Indianapolis, Matthew Pennington (Keisha) of Brookville and Carrie Eubanks (Brian) of Mason, Ohio; his grandchildren, Haley Pennington, Scarlet Eubanks and Lucy Maple; his brothers, William Pennington (Terri) of Goshen, Joe Pennington (Janie) of Batavia and Nickalus Pennington of Brookville, Indiana; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Burman and Danielle Simon.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home (1025 Franklin Ave, Brookville, IN 47012). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Brookville American Legion.
