He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ellsworth (Jessie Evelyn Arnold) and William Edward Arnold; his wife Margie Sue Campbell; and his grandson J. Michael Webster. He is survived by: his family, Bill and Margie; his children, Charles E. (Kimberly), William J. (Beatrice) and Vicki (James Webster); his grandchildren, Amanda, Alicia (Aaron), Nathaniel (Lorraine), William K. (Krista), Charles N. (Elizabeth), Jenna, Julia (Michael), Jacob (Anna), Seth (Mallory) and Sarah (Timothy); and his sister Sandra Haynes.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Oak Forest Church of Christ (13071 St Marys Rd, Brookville, IN 47012). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
