She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jones and Clellia M. Jones (Stewart); her son James W. Kirby; her siblings, Edna Barker, Phyllis Kimmel, Bill Jones, Bob Jones and Floyd Jones; and her granddaughter Ulisha Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband Jackie W. Brown; her children, Keith Nolan Whitaker (Sharon) and Darla Diane Binford; her sisters, Helen Jones, Patty Hefley and Susie Inabinet; and her grandchildren, Kristalina Glenn, Wendi Beisecker, Brandi Pappas and Bambi Gray. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (128 E 400 S, Crawfordsville, IN 47933). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
