We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2024, at the age of 79, Barbara Nelson of Brownsburg, Indiana, born in Knoxville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Bill Long and Mary Ruth Miller; and her siblings, John A. Stevens and Peggy Royes. She is survived by : her husband Chuck Nelson; her children, Ricky Thompson (Janet), Danny Nelson, Michael Nelson and Brenda Thompson (Rick); her nieces, Diane Lembas (Warren) and Cynthia Sennett; her siblings, Wendy Stevens, Judy and Tim; and her grandchildren, Jeffery Hammonds, Justin Hammonds, Christina Maynard, Eric Williams (Wendy), Ricky Thompson and Chis Thompson. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and 2 great-great-great grandchildren, many more nieces and nephews and friends.
