He was predeceased by: his wife Laura Wood; and his parents, Ben Wood and Nola Wood. He is survived by: his sons, Darrin Wood (Margaret), Rick Wood, David Wood (Mary Ann) and Charles R. Wood (Mary Ann); and his sisters, Judy Ledington and Edith Ward. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Matthews Mortuary (690 E 56th St, Brownsburg, IN 46112). The military honors will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Brownsburg Cemetery.
