He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Kirk Barker; his parents, James Truman Barker and Goldie Barker (Kinder); and his siblings, Jack, Donald Barker and Francis Chapman (Barker).
He is survived by: his children, Terry Barker (Johnna), David Barker and Pam Copas; and his sister Carolyn Sandige. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
