He was predeceased by: his parents, Dudley B. Goddard and Dovie Faulin; his wife Mary Louise Goddard; his children, Linda Fleck and Edward Goddard; and his sister Carolyn McDonald (Jim).
He is survived by: his children, David Goddard (Jeri), Elaine Staton (Bob), Kevin Goddard (Kathy), Richard Goddard (Cindy), Laurie Nelms (Dale) and Timothy Goddard (Emily); and his son-in-law Joe Fleck. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Christopher Catholic Church (5301 W 16th St, Indianapolis, IN 46224). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (435 W Troy Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46225).
