Bui; his daughter Lan Campbell; his son-in-law Dave Campbell; his stepchildren, Tran Ngoc Thanh Long, Tran Thanh Van, Tran Ngoc Thanh Phong and Tran Ngoc Thanh Vu; his grandchildren, Madelyn Campbell, Kenny Lam, Tina Lam, Tran Guynh Thu, Vi Tran, Tran Hoai Bao, Eric Tran, Ryan Tran, John Tran, Jason Tran, Tran Ngoc and Linh; and his siblings, Thoa Dao, Yen Chau, Phuoc (Nguyet Lam), Loc Dao (Hah Soly), Chau Dao (Kim Truong) and Phuc Dao (Julie Dao). He is also survived by Several Nieces and Nephews.
