He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Seitz and Ruth Seitz (Schurr); his wife Bobbie Jean Seitz; his sister Barbara Copeland; and his granddaughter Jennifer Seitz.
He is survived by: his sister Marilyn Taylor; his children, Jim Seitz (Vicky), Jeff Seitz and Tracy Seitz; his stepchildren, Barry "Butch" Hall (Kathy) and Buffy Lutz (Jeffrey); and his grandchildren, James Seitz, Preston Lutz (Courtney), Alexis McPherson (Ricky), Andrew Robinson (Bailey) and Bethany Stark (JD). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Faith Lutheran Church (5706 E County Rd 100 n, Avon, IN 46123).
