He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Watkins and Anna D. Ross Watkins; his grandson Christian Watkins; and his sister-in-law Carol P. Watkins. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Dillman; his children, Roy E. Watkins, Jr. (Angela), Krystal Watkins, Alyssa Robinson (Justin) and Cameron Watkins (Hope); his stepchildren, Jerry Haynes, Jr. (Betty), Pam Scott, Teresa Coghill and Mark Todd Haynes (Brandi); and his brother John T. Watkins, Jr.. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren, and four nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Matthews Mortuary (690 E 56th St, Brownsburg, IN 46112). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at the Brownsburg Cemetery.
