In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Sue had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Sue may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Billie D. Shonk; her grandson Josh Shonk; and her mother Mary S. Burger. She is survived by: her children, Bob Shonk (Cindy), Melissa Norris (Tony) and Terry Shonk (Dawn); and her grandchildren, Autumn Dale (Nate), Scott Shonk, Rebecca Styrvoky (John), Janet Pope (Nate), Missy McCullough (Michael) and Nicole Norris. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Conkle Funeral Home (76 N Avon Ave, Avon, IN 46123). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the West Ridge Park Cemetery (9295 W 21st St, Indianapolis, IN 46234).
