Wilma Kay Shimer Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Wilma Kay Shimer of Brownsburg, Indiana. Wilma, born on February 2, 1936 in Moss, Tennessee, passed away on August 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Versie, Henry and Naomi. She is survived by: her children, Steve, Karyn McBride, Bill, Julie Leigh, Joseph and Valerie Shimer; her grandchildren, Bill Jr., Sonseeray, Shawna, Brandon, Alexander, Logan, Scott, Jimmy, Jennifer and Whittney; and her siblings, Junior and Bonnie. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Indiana Funeral Care West.
