We announce the death of Anita Louise Burton of Brownstown, Indiana, who passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 69. Anita will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alan Weliver Murray and Sara Louise Robertson Murray; her sister Karen Elaine Sterling; and her brothers-in-law, Nick Sterling, Kenny Burton and Junior Burton.
She is survived by: her husband Dick; her children, Erin Barrett (John) of Martinsville and Ryan Burton (Amber) of Madison, Wisconsin; her sister Judy Peters; and her niece Marcia Doran. She is also survived by her many, many other family members and friends.
