He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Richard and Elberta Darlage (Wessel); his spouse Holli Day; and his mother-in-law Sandy Day. He is survived by: his sons, Trent Darlage (Brittany) of Brownstown and Tyler Darlage (Kaitlin) of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Madison Darlage, Tyson Darlage, Caleb Sipes and Zaylee Weissert; his siblings, Todd Darlage of Brownstown and Stacey Allman (Tom) of Brownstown; his father-in-law Bill Day of Brownstown; his brother-in-law Tony Day (Brenda) of Zionsville; and his pet Rocky. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Brownstown, or Don & Dana Myers Cancer Center.
