She was predeceased by: her parents, James Maples and Sophia Maples (Beavers); her husband Alfred Alvin Ault, Jr.; her son Larry Ault; her sons-in-law, Steve Mollet and James Gorbett; her brothers, Kenneth Maples (Margaret), William Maples (Bonnie) and Dee Maples; and her granddaughter Judy Faye Gorbett.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Ault (Rachel) of Medora, Janice Lockman (Andrew) of Brownstown, Brenda Mollet of Salem, Judy Gorbett of Brownstown, Debra Persinger (Ed) of Columbus and Rebecca Eisenmenger (J. T.) of Clearspring. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Spurgeon Funeral Home (206 E Commerce St, Brownstown, IN 47220). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc. (206 E Commerce St, Brownstown, IN 47220). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at the Vallonia Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
