Jeannie left this world on December 9, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Beard and Cora Beard (Bowden); her husband Phillip "Mike" Salyer; her children, Thomas Spalding, III and Kimberly Spalding; and her siblings, Terry Beard and Jerry Beard.
She is survived by: her daughter Shelley Patterson (Danny) of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Brandon Atkinson (Kristen) and Brittany Atkinson (Joe); her great grandchildren, Laci Black and Makenzie Houghteling; her brothers, Charles Beard, Jr. (Rita), David Beard (Debbie) and Jack Beard (Brenda); her sister-in-law Cindy Beard; and her close friends, Tim Warren, Doreen Bentz and Mary Ann Spray.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brownstown First Baptist Church (1095 IN-135, Brownstown, IN 47220). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Brownstown First Baptist Church Missions.
