He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. William Scharbrough and Wilma Scharbrough; and his brother-in-law Bruce Haddix. He is survived by: his siblings, William D. Scharbrough, II (Marlene) and Ann Haddix; his nephew Stephen Scharbrough (Emily); and his nieces, Katie Beehn (Jeremy), Sarah Scharbrough McLaughlin (Jeff), Suzanne Cogswell (Jonathan) and Emily Robinson (Marty). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Spurgeon Funeral Home (206 E Commerce St, Brownstown, IN 47220). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Community MD Anderson Cancer Center-North, Indianapolis, or Ft. Myers Amateur Radio Club through Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc.
