He is survived by: his wife Ellen LaShorne; his sons, Ryan Carter (Krystyna) of Columbus and Brett Carter of Brownstown; his grandchildren, Kora Carter of Columbus, Jayden Carter of Columbus and Jayce Carter of Columbus; and his sisters, Norma Miller (Bruce) of Louisville and Susan Jeffers (Charles) of Spring Hill, Florida. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Memorials may be given to Jackson County Humane Society or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
