He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth VanLiew and Janet VanLiew (Krumme). He is survived by: his wife Janet Craddock; his children, Chad Michael VanLiew (Megan Hackman) of Brownstown, Toby Eugene VanLiew of Seymour and Cortney Ruth VanLiew (Matthew Weimer) of Brownstown; his granddaughters, Annie Katherine VanLiew and Avery Grace VanLiew; and his siblings, Jeff VanLiew (Julie Mathias) of Florida, Jacqueline Stuckwisch (Pastor Jeffrey) of Brownstown and Deborah Todd (Bryan) of Brownsburg. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran High School, Lutheran Central School, or Immanuel Lutheran School.
