She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Stanton and Maxine Alvey Stanton; her former husband Walter Martin; her husbands, Lawrence Hunter and Bill Hamil; her siblings, Gayle Stanton, Harold "Bud" Stanton, Billy Stanton, Shirley Stanton and Karen Beard; and her great grandchild Owen Hunter.
She is survived by: her children, Kenny Martin (Jo), JoAnn Smith (David), Larry Hunter, Daniel Hunter and Jeffrey Hunter; and her siblings, Donnie Stanton, Mike Stanton and Gloria Bayman. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Janice to Liberty Church of the Nazarene; those may be made at the funeral home or sent to 220 W. High St., Liberty, IN 47353.
