He was predeceased by: his parents, Susie Joseph and Bradley; his son-in-law Bill Jones; his grandson Travis Jones; his siblings, Lillie, Clarence, Sarah, Clark, Lola, Emmett, Sadie, Ethel, Ellis, Ina, Clyde, Claude, Joan, Ore, Cline, Clinton and Ed; and his pet Sammie.
He is survived by: his wife Betty L. Owens; and his children, Terry Joseph (Pam), Debra Ward (Mike), Tina Bailey (Mark), Michael Hunt (Tina), Cherri Whitaker, Richard Hunt (Edith) and Vickie Jones. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
