He is survived by: his wife Betty Wheat; his children, Kimberly Caplan (Ross), Richard Muchler (Joni) and Sherry Melanson (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Joshua Bertrand, Alexandria Toppe (Jamie), Brittany Bertrand, Andrew Muchler (Kassidy), Tyler Melanson, Maci Muchler and Kaylee Melanson; his great grandchildren, Oaklynn Muchler, Baylor Toppe, Harlynn Muchler and Briley Toppe; and his brothers, John Muchler (Sharon) and Thomas Muchler.
