He is survived by: his wife Lynn Hunnell Hallar (Pam) of Elk Rapids; his children, Jaime Saylor (Joel Zumbolo) of Angola, Nathaniel Saylor (Ashley) of Williamsburg, Jessica Saylor (James Gardner) of Indianapolis and Amanda Saylor (Paul Rogers) of Grand Rapids, Michigan; his stepdaughters, Erin Hallar (Tim Boebel) of Wilmette and Emily Guildenbecher (Dan) of West Lafayette, Indiana; his grandsons, Aidan, Owen Zumbolo, Henry, Charlie, Milo Saylor, Lucas and Elliot Guildenbecher; his nephew Nick (Jackie); his nephew Jake Saylor (Jessica) of Fishers; his sister-in-law Jan Blackburn (Mike) of Burnettsville; Keely of Durham. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
