He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Moore and Vergie Moore (Hullinger); his children, Susan Marie Moore and James Moore Jr.; his grandchildren, Lane Burns, Derek Moore, Odel "Trae" Neal III and Kevin Coburn; his great grandchild Carina Anthony; his brothers, Robert "Bob" Moore, Bill Gibson and Richard "Rich" Gibson; and his son-in-law Gary DuBois.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Coburn (Winget); his children, Doreen DuBois of Auburn, Robin Anthony of Duluth, Georgia, Rebecca Moore of Fort Wayne and Mark Coburn (Leslie) of Waterloo; and his sister Anne Myers of Chandler, Arizona.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 8 great, great grandchildren.
Memorials can be given in memory of James to DeKalb County Community Foundation, for Lane Burns Memorial Fund.
