He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald J. "John" Ashworth and Carol J. Ashworth (Hart). He is survived by: his wife Deborah S. Ashworth of Butler; his children, James Ashworth (Tara), Derek Ashworth (Mehgan Edmonds) and Laura Frye (Nicholas); and his sisters, Debbie Stewart and Rebecca Scherer. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
