We bid farewell to Wilma Janette Simmering of Butler, Indiana, born in Pleasant Hill, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 28, 2025 at the age of 83. Wilma touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milo Forgey and Wilma Forgey; her siblings, Patsy Forgey and Wilbur Forgey; her daughter Carmen Michele Keuneke; her granddaughter Jessica Nicole Barth; and her great grandchild Chase Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Steve Simmering of Butler; her sister Linda Hallows (Jeff) of Louisiana, Missouri; and her children, William Martin (Julie) of Trenton, Ohio, Kathrine Smith (Mark) of Spencerville, Dona Billings (Steve) of Belding and Kerri Webb of Fort Wayne. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
