He was predeceased by: his parents, John McComas and Pluma Collins; his sister Louise Daniels; and his daughters, Sharon "Sug" McComas and Vickie Jo Davis.
He is survived by: his children, John McComas, Katie Leist (Don), Fred Davis and Tommy Bailey (Lu). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
