It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Robert Griffin of Cambridge City, Indiana, who passed away on April 20, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Griffin and Francis Griffin (Sharp); his wife Shirley Griffin (Koehler); his granddaughter Danielle Griffin; his son-in-law Earl Stamatkin; and his significant other Charlene Ann "Soozi" Worley.
He is survived by: his children, David Griffin (Donna), Dale Griffin (Christina), Dane Griffin (Denise), Dean Griffin (Claudia) and Diane Stamatkin (Earl); and his grandchildren, Darcy Finchum, David Griffin, Brian Griffin, Sarah Griffin, Jill Ringel, Chad Griffin, Koehler Graves, Klayton Griffin and Korbin Griffin. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
