She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Lakes and Betty Lakes (Paul). She is survived by: her husband Al Lay; her children, Nikole Spears (Mat), Adam Lay (Lynn) and Joshua Lay (Marsha); her sisters, Janet Gettinger, Nancy McNew, Lana Denise and Joanna Sue Sherwood; and her brothers-in-law, Kevin Sherwood, Steven McNew and Wayne Gettinger.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home (1993 Cumberland St, Cambridge City, IN 47335). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
