He is survived by: his wife Gerry Kennedy of Camby; his children, John Kennedy Jr. (Tiffany) of Martinsville and Cindy Rizo (Emilio) of Camby; and his stepsister Patricia Scurlock. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Victory Bible Church (13996 IN-67, Camby, IN 46113).
