He was predeceased by: his mother Rosemary Eskridge; and his father-in-law Robert Eskridge. He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Clark (Kent) and Robert K. Underwood (Stephanie); his nephews, James M. Brinson, Jr., Alexander E. Ward, William R. Underwood and Elijah V. Underwood; and his great-niece Lauren Brinson.
