It is with sadness that the passing of Richard Joe Kendall (Camden, Indiana) is shared. Richard, born on November 23, 1935, passed away on August 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irwin Robert and Mary Evelyn Sink Kendall; and his wife Malinda Hardin. He is survived by: his children, Robert Kendall of Delphi, Richard Kendall (Jeanette), Pam Cree (Ron) of Camden and Holly Kendall of Monticello; his half-brother Bill Smith of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Jared Cree (Courtniey), Jason Cree (Emily), Landon Duff (Sara), Scott Kendall and Lindsey Bramlage; and his close friend Jane Penn of Flora. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Camden First Baptist Church (255 E Main St, Camden, IN 46917). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at 214 W Cemetery St, Camden, IN 46917.
