He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan L. James and Clarice James (Etienne); and his brother Bernard James. He is survived by: his wife Pat James; his children, Steve James (Vicki), Tony James (Kathy), Cindy Taylor (Bob), Sherry Schraner (John), Christy Hilgenhold (Greg) and Michael James (Chrissy); and his siblings, Janet Schepers, Roland James (Janet), Nolan James (Betty) and Leonard "Tiger" James (Sheila). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
