He is survived by: his wife Lori Lynn Ehrheart Sowders; his sons, Douglas Robert Sowders, Jesse James Sowders (Emily Chapman) of Sullivan and Wyatt Matthews Sowders of Carlisle; his siblings, Jesse Sowders of Brazil, Cricket Clevenger of Mason, Lisa Rourk of Alabama and Melody Kay of Colorado; and his grandchildren, Mathue, Emma, Avahh and Ariel.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
